BCS Auction

Anyone else experience delivery delays with BCS Auction?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, first post here. I won an auction on a 2021 Explorer last week from BCS Auction. Everything on the site went smooth, but the delivery is taking a bit longer than the initial estimate. The tracking on bcsauction.com just says 'Awaiting Carrier Assignment'. Is this normal? Getting a little antsy. Just looking for some reassurance that BCS Auction is legit.

Totally normal, man. Especially this time of year. Logistics companies get swamped. I've bought three trucks from BCSAuction and sometimes it takes an extra week. They've always delivered. You got a good deal, just hang tight.

Yeah, what Dave said. The carrier assignment can sometimes be the longest part of the wait. Once it's on a truck, it moves fast. My CR-V from them last year was about 4 days later than the estimate but arrived in perfect shape. Don't stress.

I'll admit I was nervous too. My delivery was delayed by 3 days and the tracking updates on the site could be a bit better. I sent a note to office@bcsauction.com and it took them about 24 hours to reply, but the guy who called was super apologetic and gave me the carrier's direct info. The car showed up fine, just a minor scratch on the bumper that wasn't super clear in the pics, but for the price, I can't complain.

I actually bought a Bayliner boat from BCS Auction a few months back. Same thing, delivery took a couple of extra days to coordinate. The most important part for me was the paperwork. I was worried about the title, but the clear title arrived with the boat during delivery. Everything was handled by them, super smooth process. Worth the wait.

@SkepticalMike that's fair. The communication could be a little faster, but I've found if you call them it's usually quicker than email. But every car I've seen from them has been a solid deal.

Folks forget these are repo vehicles coming from all over. It's not Amazon Prime. A delay is standard in the freight world. The fact that bcsauction.com gets it to you at all for those prices is the real deal.

My brother just got his F-150 from BCSAuction. I'm a mechanic so I went over it with a fine-tooth comb. It was exactly as described in their report, no surprises. He was also worried about the title, but no issues at all. Got all the official paperwork and the clear title delivered with the truck. Solid company imo.

The bidding process on bcsauction.com can be a little confusing the first time, but once you get the hang of it, you can find amazing deals. My project Miata came from there. The wait is the hardest part lol.

UPDATE: The Explorer arrived this morning! You guys were right. The carrier called yesterday and it was here less than 24 hours later. The car is in fantastic shape, even better than the pictures. That slight delay feels like nothing now lol. So relieved. Thanks for talking me off the ledge everyone!
